about

On January 9th of this year (2023), the drumming community lost an incredible human, Jeremy Berman, who was battling esophageal cancer. He and I never knew one another but many of my close friends who did, always spoke so very highly of him that I truly wish I had been his friend. Anyhow, he was the owner and principle builder for Q Drum Co. of Los Angeles and I've always wanted one of his snares but never got one until a couple of weeks ago when a drum student of mine asked if he could trade lessons for a snare. Low and behold, the 7 x 14 Gentlemen's Copper that you are listening to here. This drum has been a game changer and one I'll take to the grave. Rest in peace, JB.
